Registering in person for a class
Register in person using a major credit card, cash or check (payable to the Morgan Hill Art School). 1295 East Dunne Ave., Suite 210 Morgan Hill, CA 95037
Register by phone at 669.888.3622 and use a major credit card. If we miss your call, please leave a message and we’ll call you back. Do not leave credit card info on message.
We do not take payment through the mail.
Discounts on Classes & Workshops
Registration in the same course period of more than one class earns 10% discount on all classes for that course term.
Multiple people in the same family (mother, father, sister, brother) registering in the same course term earns 10% discount for all courses in the same term.
Needs-based scholarships are available for kids, teens, and adults. Applications are available online or at our front desk.
Spaces are allotted based on availability at the time of payment. Your registration in a class is not guaranteed until your payment is received.
Once an instructor’s maximum enrollment is reached, names will be placed on a waiting list and students will be notified if an opening occurs. Waitlisted students will be notified in order received and based on their interest in full class registration. You cannot add yourself to the waiting list while registering online — you must do so over the phone or in person.
Per-day drop-ins of $30 are allowed in some adult classes with the consent of the instructor or where noted in the description. Students may drop in ONLY one time before they are required to purchase a full class unless otherwise noted.
Classes are not refunded or prorated due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses or vacations.
If a class is canceled by the Morgan Hill Art School, your fees will be refunded in full.
We will contact you via email and phone and offer you the chance to transfer into another class or receive a full refund for the class amount. Please allow 2 – 4 weeks for classes that were paid for with check or cash.
If you drop a class:
At least 7 business days before the class starts, you will receive 100% refund.
Within 6 business days of the first day of class, but do not attend the first class, we will issue you a 75% refund.
After the first class, we will issue a 50% refund.
No refunds issued after the second class; classes are not refunded due to failure to attend.
You can receive a full refund credited to your Morgan Hill Art School account and good for another class or credited in full back to your credit card. If you paid with check or cash, please allow 2 – 4 weeks for us to process a refund.
NOTE: If you purchased your class through CourseHorse, then our Refund & Cancellation policy applies to your purchase. If you are entitled to a refund, or have any questions, please visit the CourseHorse site and contact their customer service team.
Feedback is very important to us. Please take a couple of minutes to contact us to let us know the reason you are dropping your class and help us learn about the best time to contact you if necessary. If you need urgent attention, please call our office.
If you receive a scholarship to attend a class and choose not to attend the class, the scholarship is not transferrable but you are welcome to apply again. Please let us know as soon as you can if you will not be using the scholarship so we can reallocate the funds to someone else.
We encourage you to register at least one week prior to the start date since minimum enrollment must be met for classes to be held. When enrollment is below minimum five days prior to the first day of class, the class may be canceled. We will make every effort to contact registered students in a timely manner if cancellation occurs. Your fee can be applied to another class or refunded in full.
No loose clothing, hoop jewelry, necklaces must be tucked in, long hair must be tied back. No opened toed shoes.
Drop Off/ Pick Up
Please do not arrive before 10 minutes prior to class unless you have scheduled an appointment ahead of time.
We agree to supervise students during their scheduled class times, but we do not have staffing to supervise students outside of their class times. Students picked up more than 10 minutes late will be charged $5 for the first 10 minutes and $1 per minute thereafter. Please come into the studio to pick up your student we do not release students into the parking lot.
Sign In/ Sign Out
We require student under the age of 18 to be signed out by the adult that is bringing them to school and picking up. Students who walk, ride their bikes, drive themselves, etc. may sign in and out for themselves when parent/guardian signs and turns in a release form
Please respect the safety of students and staff by excusing yourself from class in case of illness. We reserve the right to ask sick students to leave class.

Preventing Harassment, Sexual or Otherwise
Morgan Hill Art School is committed to providing an environment within which all employees, faculty, students, volunteers, and others are treated with respect and that is free of harassment. Morgan Hill Art School prohibits conduct that is disrespectful, disparaging or unprofessional as well as harassment based on race, color, national origin or ancestry, religious creed, age, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, marital or family status, gender (including gender identity and gender expression), sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information or any other basis protected by federal or state law. All such conduct violates Morgan Hill Art policy, whether by an employee of Morgan Hill Art School, including supervisors and managers or by Board members, vendors, customers, students, independent contractors including faculty as well as any other persons on Morgan Hill Art School premises or participating in our programs.
Prohibited harassment, disrespectful or unprofessional conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following behavior:
Verbal conduct such as epithets, derogatory jokes or comments, slurs or unwanted sexual advances, invitations or comments;
Visual displays such as derogatory and/or sexually-oriented posters, photography, cartoons, drawings or gestures;
Physical conduct including assault, unwanted touching, intentionally blocking normal movement;
Threats and demands to submit to sexual requests as a condition of continued employment or a benefit of employment; ·
Retaliation for reporting or threatening to report a violation of this policy;
If you believe you have been the subject of harassment or other prohibited conduct, contact our Executive Director, or the President of the Board of Directors as soon as possible after the incident. It would be best to communicate the details of the incident in writing, but the writing is not mandatory. Morgan Hill Art School will undertake an effective, thorough and objective investigation of the allegations, including talking to witnesses.
If the Morgan Hill Art School determines that harassment or other prohibited conduct has occurred, effective remedial action, up to and including termination, will be taken in accordance with the circumstances involved. A Morgan Hill Art School representative will advise all parties concerned of the results of the investigation.
Morgan Hill Art School will not retaliate against anyone for filing a complaint and will not tolerate or permit retaliation by employees, instructors or co-workers.
Morgan Hill Art School is an "at will" employer. We do not offer medical benefits to contracted employees. All instructors are hired as "at will" contracted employees.
Instructors are paid hourly.
Payments are made to the instructors on the 1st and 15th of the month.
All instructors will be evaluated after the first course by one or more board members, and again every quarter.
All instructors must pass a background check before hiring. Morgan Hill Art School will reimburse the cost of a background check if completed at partnered organizations
All instructors must complete a course proposal form prior to employment consideration
Upon successful hiring instructors will receive a copy of policies and their contract which must be signed by both instructor and director in order for a contract to commence.

Our staff, contractors, Internet service providers and others involved in this site follow this policy or similarly strict policies regarding your information.

“Contact” Functions. Some pages on our sites offer users the opportunity to email either Morgan Hill Art School, its affiliate organizations or other companies or organizations about specific issues. To subscribe to email newsletters offered by Morgan Hill Art School, users are asked to provide certain personal information. This information may include the user’s name, email address, phone number, and postal address.
